ESPN Radio App for the iPhone Review

Sports fans take a listen to the ESPN Radio App!

The ESPN radio app is currently available in the Apple App store, which is online or on your phone.

I am an avid listener of sports talk radio and this application allows me to listen to my favorite ESPN talk show hosts whenever I desire. Here is a breakdown of functionality and features...

I initially downloaded this application to listen to PTI and Tony Kornheiser one of my favorite on-air personalities and sports commentator. However, I was blown away by the usability and ease of access that is presented by the ESPN radio app.

- Stream live radio

- Listen to podcasts

- SMS shows and hosts

- Up to date announcements from Sportscenter

The podcast system enables users to select a show (save favorites if desired) and then find the date for the selected show. Normally, the podcasts are updated the following day. For example, today January 5th will have podcasts as recent as January 4th, but it also has an extensive archive if you are interested.

The features are nothing extravagant, but they perfectly meet the needs of the listener!

I normally use the station to listen to live radio while at work or I will find a podcast from one of my favorite shows such as PTI, so I can hear their opinion on the latest sports news.
